Tuesday we did Thanksgiving and I drank Juice and water~


Tuesday of this week my husband and I celebrated Thanksgiving....I juiced.....I took some video on Tuesday but for some reason when I download a video here It appears 2 times. I am wanting to add video,but it won't work. Our 2 boys wanted my Turkey and stuffing, so I brined the Turkey for all 24 hours from Monday am-Tuesday am . We then took the 20 lb turkey out to dry about 1 hour and tucked herbed butter under the skin. We added the turkey to the roasting pan,put it in a cooler with ice and traveled 1 hour to get it in the oven to our 1 hour am drive. the turkey was in at 11:20 am. All was perfect as the Turkey was finished at 3:45 .The sides went into the oven to warm,and all was done and all ate food by 4:30 pm or a few minutes after. I sat with my pumpkin juice and water and loved  all the power I had in me to not not eat anything ,nor care to snitch any bites. And that is a FACT~~~~
   Just went to the YMCA to get 1 hour of a workout in. I did some arm machine and a few sets of
 legwork. I continued upstairs to the treadmill and did 45 minutes of walk and slow jogging on and off. What a way to start Thanksgiving.
I have to put together some soap bags for my annual high school craft show. We set -up Friday mi-day and sell both Saturday and Sunday. I usually so pretty good at this high school and it's only 5 minutes from our house.

I think we are heading to see the movie Hugo in 3 D. I love movies at the theatre in the winter. I have no desire in the summertime  unless it's  absolutely hot outside and want to stay cooler with their air conditioning. So off I go to prep for my soap selling and go catch a movie...... Sounds good to me after I down a green juice.

Today is Juice feasting day 18 of my 90-120 days ...........

Yummy juice of several things in here:
 Kale,Spinach,swiss chard 1 huge leaf,burdock root,
celery,cucumber,fennel,zucchini,4 skinny asparagus, 2 granny smith,lemon,ginger.


I am so amazed at what vegetables can be juiced. I really can only drink 2-2.5 liters of juice and plenty of water in my day. Right now I am using a Breville juicer. I like the Breville because it is a fast juicer. On the downside the Breville leaves the pulp large and I end up squeezing my pulp and get anywhere from 1-5 more ounces from the pulp. I wish someone told me in my beginning of using my Breville to tell me --SQUEEZE THE PULP- My first juicer 3 years ago was a used Champion that I bought on
 Craigslist, andI still use my Champion for raw ice cream......


Now what I am waiting for is my Omega J8600 juicer.  I used a 20% off coupon at Bed,Bath and Beyond. The store orders it and it will be 2 weeks. Any day now my new juicer will be here.  I chose that one because the pulp will be dryer,it juices GREENS better, and it will juice wheatgrass,and I love wheatgrass. I love it's flavor(many don't),and I love how it mends the body. Eat Raw it does a body good!!

Not much to say today as I read and read and read blogs,books,videos and there all on juicing or body  health.
I hope all my days will continue as they have,because I feel great and I am back to exercise ,and my clothes are feeling looser.

Juice feasting Day 10 and 11 of 90-120...........

Another green juice of:
2 leaves of Swiss Chard
2 handfulls Spinach
5 stalks of Celery
2 tomatos
2 carrots
1/2 batch parsley
1 apple
1 lime
My yummy Vegetable Green juice today is:
1 Red Swiss chard
4 Kale leaves
handful of Dandelion
2 handfuls Arugula
3 tomatoes
1 small zucchini
2 carrot
1 garlic clove

This green juice is a tad different from 2 days ago and that is what we have to do. 
What  you have to do is change a few ingredients to make your juice zippy and exciting.  In order to stick with juicing we all have to take our time make a juice taste the results before cleaning your machine.  If you don't like the flavor you taste,then I suggest adding something else that will please the palette.




I am feeling so great and that is super as I usually feel good . So many people have massive detox symptoms if an the SAD Standard American Diet, not me. I am actually having mild symptoms. I owe it all to a primarily Raw Food Diet these last 3 years.


  From Day 1 to now day 11 here are some of what I have experienced.......


Day 1 -light head ache-not to hard core
Day 2-4  I had eye twitching off and on 
with dry eyes from day 2-5 
Kinda into myself (quiet)
Mucus at the end of my enema today--To Much info; but fact 
Day 5-11-----Wringing in my ears off and on;
my back of my tongue throat area feels strange like maybe bumpy things
I can't explain the feeling.


I brush my teeth 3-4 days with little toothpaste. This SPRY can be found at 
nutrition health stores and it's a new choice since going to the dentist 1 week ago. 
My hygienist told me about this product. My dentist likes fluoride........ I prefer to differ.

Day four (4) and five (5) Juice feasting ...90-120 days

  This is all self expanatory in todays video. I am off to get my haircut so what I drank is not added today!!!! I a really having a good experience so far, no crazy anything . I went to bed maybe 1/2 hour before
normal and I slept well and couldn't ask for a better feeling so far. I actually love how I feel on green juice.

Woke today to some 10 ounces of water an Psyllium Husks, as I am already stuck.....Then I followed with 10 more ounces of water.... The rest I will add later off for my haircut........

Day 8 Juicing.............All great!

I am trucking along on the juice thing. I really have it ,I really do FINALLY!!!!!! I absolutely have no desire to chew food and my mind is set to not think of food either at this point. Hip Hip Hooray! I am stoked. I feel so good,the sun is shining and I fell clean I mean really clean -in and out.
  You know the more I think about this journey the more I get why I really am doing it. Knowing that I grew up with everything  food wise meat included. Sadly I was brought up to eat everything on our plates as kids. I say crap on that . I will say I really never was a huge meat eater even as a child ,and could remember at Christmas for instance we always had Prime Rib ,I say So What. I ate it as we had to but never liked it and Thanks god I am now nor never was a fan of steak. Yuk I say,as I was more of a fish lover. Long story short as I grew older I chose to take a cleaner eating approach and we raised our kids with a balanced diet ,but as they got older they also chose to  eat whatever  they want. I myself really made a turn to Raw around age 49 as I am going to be 53 years young in Dec of this year. I love eating Raw /Vegan food and I feel so good doing so. Don't knock this lifestyle if you haven't tried it~

Today was another sunny 81 degree day -just beautiful......After awakening and drinking 32 ounces of water with lemon squeezed into it I made this~I made this wonderful amount of juice today from these ingredients: 2 Cup lambs quarters,4 dandelion leaves,1.5 cucumber,6 stalks celery, small romaine,1 small zucchini 2 limes, 1C. spinach 1 golden delicious apple....And this drink was not bitter either as lambs quarter is mild.

Now the husband and I are going to give all 3 dogs outside since it is incredibly warm today and the weather is said to change tomorrow~


I always end my day with a bath and skin brushing. I also drink wheatgrass 1.5 hours before bedtime. Why 1.5 hours I don't know I just do it

Day 5 of juicing........I feel great!

Amazing ,I just did an enema and its amazing what comes out on just consuming juice juice.That is all I will say,and I feel great,but not as much energy as yesterday though.
People may ask why juice when you can eat just raw food and cleanse the body. That is correct ,although I have been trying to get pure Raw into my head since Oct 2008 and everyday since then I have almost all of my meals Raw. My days  always start with a smoothie or juice,most often juice. I am a huge fan of juicing. Although I am a huge fan I somehow drop drinking juices around day 10. My last juicing was 21 days but I really know this is right -right now.
After I did my enema I took my cleansing herbs and had water I made a small 12 Ounce juice of  : Fennel,lemon,ginger and kale. I have this drink at a place in Seattle and I love fennel in any of my drinks as it it so refreshing and fennel is great for treating congestion or conjunctivitis, stimulating appetite, treating colic in infants, preventing muscle spasms, and relieving gas. The nutrients in fennel juice contain essential vitamins and minerals that promote relief for an upset stomach and it is commonly used for cancer patients after chemotherapy to help rebuild the digestive system. Fennel juice is also good for eye conditions, such as night blindness or a weak optic nerve. In addition, if you add beet juice to carrot and fennel, the efficacy of all three creates a remedy for anemia and excessive menstruation.


Manganese

According to the "Juicing Forum," fennel juice contains manganese, which is nutritionally essential for helping to break down amino acids and produce energy. The Vitamins and Nutrition Center says manganese also helps nourish the brain, aids in skeletal development, and helps maintain sex hormone production and regulate blood sugar levels.
Zinc
Fennel juice contains high amounts of zinc, which helps to reduce intestinal spasms and increase movement of the small intestines, according to Helpwithcooking.com. Zinc helps to heal wounds and is also important in enzyme reactions. It is also particularly beneficial for skin health, maintaining a healthy immune system, and building resistance to infection. Regular consumption of fennel juice helps relieve skin conditions such as eczema and acne, and the zinc in fennel juice is effective for treating prostate problems, maintaining healthy liver function, developing muscle growth, and metabolizing energy, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins.

Vitamins

According to Helpwithcooking.com, fennel juice is a healthy source of vitamin A and vitamin B-complex. Vitamin A is found in some plant-based foods, including fennel, which supply beta-carotene. Lifeclinic.com notes that your body converts beta-carotene into vitamin A, which has antioxidant properties that rid the body of free radicals that cause tissue and cellular damage. Vitamin B-complex, which is made up of vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, and B12; biotin, choline and inositol, plays an important role in producing energy, maintaining a healthy nervous system, assisting in proper digestion, and maintaining healthy hair, skin and nails, according to healthandgoodness.com.


This is why I chose to juice again:
I want to clean my colon well
