Day 31 of my juice feasting today- Video below is day 30


BY THE WAY` between shots as I filmed this video I DID strain in a nut milk bag the tiny amount of pulp. I like to strain my juices ~always!


Today I made a nice PURE green juice. Yum

Dianne's Green Juice~

4 small peppers or 3/4 red pepper
5 stalks celery
1large cucumber
bunch cilantro 2 good handles
1 clove garlic
2 " piece ginger
6 leaves of kale
parsley- 1 good handful
1 bunch fresh spinach
2 roma tomatoes

What Is Detoxification?

Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins from the body or neutralizing or transforming them, and clearing excess mucus and congestion. Many of these toxins come from our diet, drug use, and environmental exposure, both acute and chronic. Internally, fats, especially oxidized fats and cholesterol, free radicals, and other irritating molecules act as toxins. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness and dysfunction, reduced liver function, and poor elimination through the kidneys, respiratory tract, and skin all add to increased toxicity.
Detoxification involves dietary and lifestyle changes which reduce intake of toxins and improve elimination. Avoidance of chemicals, from food or other sources, refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and many drugs helps minimize the toxin load. Those lifestyle changes are a direct result of choices you make in your life. Transcendental meditation has helped me make marked improvements in not only my health and behavior but all aspects of my life. I highly recommend you look into it .
When detoxifying your colon, it is also important to incorporate probiotics in your diet to replenish your intestinal flora.
Colon cleansingBowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don’t have at least 1 bowel movement per day, you are already walking your way toward disease. Man’s body has not changed very much in the past several thousand years… however man’s diet has certainly changed a lot. All the refined sugar, white flour, hormone/antibiotics-filled meats we constantly ingest constitute an assault on our bodies. We are continuously violating our bodies by eating terrible foods. Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.
So, all congestion and toxins must be removed, and it must begin with cleansing of the bowel.
One of the most frequent bowel problems that people experience today is constipation.
A constipated system is one in which the transition time of toxic wastes is slow. The longer the “transit time,” the longer the toxic waste matter sits in our bowel, which allows them to putrefy, ferment and possibly be reabsorbed. The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines, the greater the risk of developing disease. Even with one bowel movement per day, you will still have at least three meals worth of waste matter putrefying in your colon at all times.
Disease usually begins with a toxic bowel. Those having fewer bowel movements are harboring a potentially fertile breeding ground for serious diseases. Infrequent or poor quality bowel movements over an extended period of time may be very hazardous to your health.

Tuesday we did Thanksgiving and I drank Juice and water~


Tuesday of this week my husband and I celebrated Thanksgiving....I juiced.....I took some video on Tuesday but for some reason when I download a video here It appears 2 times. I am wanting to add video,but it won't work. Our 2 boys wanted my Turkey and stuffing, so I brined the Turkey for all 24 hours from Monday am-Tuesday am . We then took the 20 lb turkey out to dry about 1 hour and tucked herbed butter under the skin. We added the turkey to the roasting pan,put it in a cooler with ice and traveled 1 hour to get it in the oven to our 1 hour am drive. the turkey was in at 11:20 am. All was perfect as the Turkey was finished at 3:45 .The sides went into the oven to warm,and all was done and all ate food by 4:30 pm or a few minutes after. I sat with my pumpkin juice and water and loved  all the power I had in me to not not eat anything ,nor care to snitch any bites. And that is a FACT~~~~
   Just went to the YMCA to get 1 hour of a workout in. I did some arm machine and a few sets of
 legwork. I continued upstairs to the treadmill and did 45 minutes of walk and slow jogging on and off. What a way to start Thanksgiving.
I have to put together some soap bags for my annual high school craft show. We set -up Friday mi-day and sell both Saturday and Sunday. I usually so pretty good at this high school and it's only 5 minutes from our house.

I think we are heading to see the movie Hugo in 3 D. I love movies at the theatre in the winter. I have no desire in the summertime  unless it's  absolutely hot outside and want to stay cooler with their air conditioning. So off I go to prep for my soap selling and go catch a movie...... Sounds good to me after I down a green juice.

Day 20 of Juice feasting....

I woke today and had my usual lemon water with MSM capsules. Now what I do every other day is either take my "Gods herbs" that I put in my video on You Tube  OR I take something called Gaia  -"Swedish Bitters." I take Both of these herbs-(not on the same day)-
(I trade both products every other day!) to help clean the  digestive system along with my Juice feasting. I feel so darn good every day and I am not hungry. I think my body is liking what I doing for it~I know I am liking my results that I am slowly but surely seeing on my body too.
 My face is losing the double chin and the top area if you know what I mean always seems to lose weight first and slowly shows up in the butt area.
I am back at the YMCA and I am incorporating weight training with the elliptical,treadmill and the rowing machine work also. I have been to the movie theatre 2 times and neither time did I want to have the popcorn. That is all cool. As I have really drilled it in my head to stay juicy and stay RAW over any other eating from here on out.....So watch me shrink!

Today is Juice feasting day 18 of my 90-120 days ...........

Yummy juice of several things in here:
 Kale,Spinach,swiss chard 1 huge leaf,burdock root,
celery,cucumber,fennel,zucchini,4 skinny asparagus, 2 granny smith,lemon,ginger.


I am so amazed at what vegetables can be juiced. I really can only drink 2-2.5 liters of juice and plenty of water in my day. Right now I am using a Breville juicer. I like the Breville because it is a fast juicer. On the downside the Breville leaves the pulp large and I end up squeezing my pulp and get anywhere from 1-5 more ounces from the pulp. I wish someone told me in my beginning of using my Breville to tell me --SQUEEZE THE PULP- My first juicer 3 years ago was a used Champion that I bought on
 Craigslist, andI still use my Champion for raw ice cream......


Now what I am waiting for is my Omega J8600 juicer.  I used a 20% off coupon at Bed,Bath and Beyond. The store orders it and it will be 2 weeks. Any day now my new juicer will be here.  I chose that one because the pulp will be dryer,it juices GREENS better, and it will juice wheatgrass,and I love wheatgrass. I love it's flavor(many don't),and I love how it mends the body. Eat Raw it does a body good!!

Not much to say today as I read and read and read blogs,books,videos and there all on juicing or body  health.
I hope all my days will continue as they have,because I feel great and I am back to exercise ,and my clothes are feeling looser.

Juice feasting Day 10 and 11 of 90-120...........

Another green juice of:
2 leaves of Swiss Chard
2 handfulls Spinach
5 stalks of Celery
2 tomatos
2 carrots
1/2 batch parsley
1 apple
1 lime
My yummy Vegetable Green juice today is:
1 Red Swiss chard
4 Kale leaves
handful of Dandelion
2 handfuls Arugula
3 tomatoes
1 small zucchini
2 carrot
1 garlic clove

This green juice is a tad different from 2 days ago and that is what we have to do. 
What  you have to do is change a few ingredients to make your juice zippy and exciting.  In order to stick with juicing we all have to take our time make a juice taste the results before cleaning your machine.  If you don't like the flavor you taste,then I suggest adding something else that will please the palette.




I am feeling so great and that is super as I usually feel good . So many people have massive detox symptoms if an the SAD Standard American Diet, not me. I am actually having mild symptoms. I owe it all to a primarily Raw Food Diet these last 3 years.


  From Day 1 to now day 11 here are some of what I have experienced.......


Day 1 -light head ache-not to hard core
Day 2-4  I had eye twitching off and on 
with dry eyes from day 2-5 
Kinda into myself (quiet)
Mucus at the end of my enema today--To Much info; but fact 
Day 5-11-----Wringing in my ears off and on;
my back of my tongue throat area feels strange like maybe bumpy things
I can't explain the feeling.


I brush my teeth 3-4 days with little toothpaste. This SPRY can be found at 
nutrition health stores and it's a new choice since going to the dentist 1 week ago. 
My hygienist told me about this product. My dentist likes fluoride........ I prefer to differ.

Juice feasting day 8 and 9 of my 90-120 ...........


 This was another nice calm not rainy day in the Pacific Northwest and that is a great surprise. I make handmade soap and lotion and with our economy I slowed selling my soaps at craft shows. I would of sold at a show on Saturday November 5th however I chose to not go. If I would of gone it would of been a nice dry day. Oh well, we took that nice walk instead. I am so happy with myself thus far on my juice quest. I know it is my beginning ,but I find myself constantly thinking of nothing but what this is and will continue to do for my body. Let alone lose several pounds.

After my lemon water after I woke up I made some juices.This is my what I call
V-8 juice:
3 Roma tomatoes
1 slice red onion
2 celery stalks
1 clove garlic
lemon
broccoli stem
4 thin asparagus
8 fresh green beans
romaine leaves- 4
zucchini-1 small
cilantro -1/2 bunch
parsley-handful
swiss chard-1 huge red leaf...........It's amazing how 1 garlic clove is very tasty in a juice,try it it you haven't done so.

Day 7 on Juice feasting of 90-120 days..........

My husband and our 1 dog of our 3 dogs-we have 2 doxie's too,went for a walk in Seattle and had a refreshing day in the cool crisp Seattle day. This is a treat for us as this really is our wet season and we have been lucky to have dry days. I like taking the 1 hour drive to Seattle and walk this lovely huge acreage as this land used to be Fort Lawton a Prisoner of war camp for the Civil war.



After going to Chaco Canyon I am home downloading video and this info deciding what I will make to drink tomorrow.

Day four (4) and five (5) Juice feasting ...90-120 days

  This is all self expanatory in todays video. I am off to get my haircut so what I drank is not added today!!!! I a really having a good experience so far, no crazy anything . I went to bed maybe 1/2 hour before
normal and I slept well and couldn't ask for a better feeling so far. I actually love how I feel on green juice.

Woke today to some 10 ounces of water an Psyllium Husks, as I am already stuck.....Then I followed with 10 more ounces of water.... The rest I will add later off for my haircut........

Day three (3) Juice feasting ...90-120 days



My juices:  green juice-kale,cucumber,spinach, beet,lemon,broccoli and ginger. I ended my day with watermelon,mint and lime juice. All is good with no detox symptoms. I have had any signs of anything 
bad,as type this I really have a buzz as I sip my green juice. All I know is I feel great.
I also sip on throughout my day too. Have a great Day and Holla to all...............


Here is a wonderful recipe from the www.juicefeasting.com site, that is recommend by David Rainoshek
From David:  Here is the tea I make many mornings during the week, and it is perfect for drinking while Juice Feasting! It is energizing, immune-building, helps your body utilize oxygen, feeds friendly probiotics (because of the polysaccharides in the goji berries), and is antagonistic to opportunists such as yeast, mold, fungus, unfriendly bacteria, and parasites! So here it is:
Make 1 to 1.5 quarts of tea with:
  • Ginger (Tablespoon) *
  • Pau D’Arco (Tablespoon)
  • Nettle (Tablespoon)
  • Horsetail (Tablespoon)
  • Astragalus (Tablespoon)
  • Tulsi (Holy Basil) (Tablespoon)
  • Goji Berry (small handful)
  • Rooibos (Tablespoon)
  • Licorice Root (teaspoon)
Boil water, and place all the ingredients in. Simmer for 10 minutes, and you can drink right away. Or let it steep for hours -  and just dip into it throughout the day!
