Day 52 of Juicing and My Birthday........and I am 53-----

 1 week before I started juicing! I have a chin~ 1 chin :-)

These photos are my beginnings before any Raw Food in my life. The second photo was wearing make-up and me being fresh and loving my raw eating .Then I added cooked and no exercise and what do you think. I will tell you,I gain weight and get that fat face and pants get tight,and the cycle begins. NO MORE!!!!!
I am back to exercise,and have been and doing a great body cleanse. Keep watching the journey!



Getting a juice treat from my friend later today and we will then take a walk. It's dry outside ,so all is good.

Day three (3) Juice feasting ...90-120 days



My juices:  green juice-kale,cucumber,spinach, beet,lemon,broccoli and ginger. I ended my day with watermelon,mint and lime juice. All is good with no detox symptoms. I have had any signs of anything 
bad,as type this I really have a buzz as I sip my green juice. All I know is I feel great.
I also sip on throughout my day too. Have a great Day and Holla to all...............


Here is a wonderful recipe from the www.juicefeasting.com site, that is recommend by David Rainoshek
From David:  Here is the tea I make many mornings during the week, and it is perfect for drinking while Juice Feasting! It is energizing, immune-building, helps your body utilize oxygen, feeds friendly probiotics (because of the polysaccharides in the goji berries), and is antagonistic to opportunists such as yeast, mold, fungus, unfriendly bacteria, and parasites! So here it is:
Make 1 to 1.5 quarts of tea with:
  • Ginger (Tablespoon) *
  • Pau D’Arco (Tablespoon)
  • Nettle (Tablespoon)
  • Horsetail (Tablespoon)
  • Astragalus (Tablespoon)
  • Tulsi (Holy Basil) (Tablespoon)
  • Goji Berry (small handful)
  • Rooibos (Tablespoon)
  • Licorice Root (teaspoon)
Boil water, and place all the ingredients in. Simmer for 10 minutes, and you can drink right away. Or let it steep for hours -  and just dip into it throughout the day!
You eat the goji berries!(except when juice feasting).......  Don’t throw them away

Day 23 juicing only..........

Started again with water and lemon juice (fresh squeezed)with 2 MSM capsules. After my enema I made a V-8 type juice which consisted of:

 Juice today:
Large head Romaine, 1/2 bunch Parsley,1 bunch Celery,1 Cucumber, 4 Radish,1 medium Tomato, 1 Lemon, 1Garlic clove and shake of Cayenne     

My second juice :
Kale,dandelion,spinach,1 cucumber,1 carrot,lemon,ginger,1 granny smith apple


Last juice today :
coconut water , 2 grapefruit, 1 orange, and teaspoon of Vita-mineral green....This seems to curb a sweet tooth craving. Or just a nice treat while juicing


I also drink water and some Rooibos tea also while juicing.


Why am I doing some juicing and not eating ?????
 I have the desire to experience what it will feel like when we let our digestive system take a break on the hard core everyday eating,digesting and processing  of what we would normally take in  as the  form of food. I can say it is really an amazing feeling internally and externally. I have such a confidence about me that I would never normally know existed if I never took this opportunity to putting my mind into something I never thought I could or would  do before. I also have several lbs to loose lets not forget about .;-)

I have tried this juice journey 3 other times and this time is really the most confident and happiest time I have experienced yet!!! Now do I have energy -Yes...I do have energy. My body really only had some minor feelings of detox--Headache the first day, some weirdness in my throat from not chewing food is what's going on now. Well I do keep my juice in my mouth before swallowing though. Some afternoons I might get a 20 minute cat nap,but that's about it. Over all I have had only a few mind thoughts of food, but daily I have a spiral notebook in which I write my thoughts down. My mind has been made up and it's a wonderful positive one. If  you keep the fresh juices made and always have juicing items on hand then the process of juicing is an exciting one. I LOVE IT!!!!!




Now a few more things I do at nighttime :
The first thing I do is Dry brush and then get a warm bath. I then have my wheat grass 1.5 hours before bed time. I take my wheat grass  before bed in order  to have plenty of tie to pee before bed......... Now that makes sense right?

That is an average day in a juicers day ........Exercise is either at the YMCA or walking outside by some water....for 1-1.5 hours sometime mid day for me too.

Day 4 of Juice feasting

I have had a good 4 days. How really amazing is it to know juices can feed our body and with very good nutrition at best.


My goal is to take in 2 lbs of green leafy vegetables. I am ready to get back to exercise since I was having trouble with simple walking as I twisted my back on Monday March 7th. My plan is to walk at this time and slowly work back into rowing and using the elliptical machine. Right now I can not jar my back too much as I have slight pain if I move wrong or get pulled (By my dog's leash pulled that is):-).




Today I had 48 oz kale,spinach,celery,red pepper,lemon,burbock root,apple,pear and ginger


18 oz of oranges,grapefruits,into fresh coconut water with Vitamineral green


32 oz swiss chard, celery, cucumber, garlic, lemon, burdock root, apple and ginger.




Time to head to the store in Tacoma, where I can get local organic, although I pay more money there. I have to travel over 1 hour South to a Co-op with great prices or head to Seattle to PCC co-op and/or Whole foods. These runs take place either Saturday or Sunday.


Why I am juicing: The reason I juice is I feel the need to clean out unwanted food, lift mental clarity and remove toxic yuk that probably is in me as I am not the most perfect Raw food eating Gal. Although my goal is to juice and track what I eat and then change over to Raw recipes and tally the calories ,fat and carbs. Most people don't count these things ,but I know my body and the more I know about what my intake is the better I will  succeed.~
